Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 September 2026
1. Provider and scope
These terms govern all contracts concluded through wslmanager.com between you and Bostrot Inh. Eric Trenkel, Kölner Str. 71, 50259 Pulheim, Germany (“we”, “us”). Our full details are in the imprint.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into the contract for purposes predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (§ 13 BGB). An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person acting in the course of their trade, business or profession (§ 14 BGB).
2. Subject matter
We sell licences for the WSL Manager application. The application itself is open source and available free of charge under the GPLv3. A paid licence unlocks the Pro features described on the pricing page and is required, under our dual licensing model, for commercial use by companies and individuals with annual revenue above USD 1,000,000.
The Pro licence is a perpetual licence for one individual, valid on the machines that person uses. The Commercial licence is a perpetual per-seat licence; one seat is required for each developer using the application.
3. Conclusion of the contract
The presentation of licences on this website is not a binding offer. By selecting a licence and completing payment on the checkout page operated by Stripe, you submit a binding offer to purchase. We accept that offer by issuing the licence key, at the latest by sending you confirmation of the contract. The contract is concluded in English.
We do not store the contract text in a way that allows you to retrieve it later. Please save these terms and your purchase confirmation.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are stated in US dollars and are final prices. In accordance with § 19 UStG (Kleinunternehmerregelung, the German small business regulation) we do not charge value added tax, and no VAT is shown separately on our invoices.
Payment is processed by Stripe. The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout. No additional fees are charged by us.
5. Delivery of the licence key
The licence key is generated immediately after successful payment and shown to you on the confirmation page. You can copy it from there or have it applied to the application directly. Keep the key safe: it is your proof of licence, and you will need it to activate the application on another machine.
6. Right of withdrawal for consumers
Withdrawal policy
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Bostrot Inh. Eric Trenkel, Kölner Str. 71, 50259 Pulheim, Germany, email [email protected], phone +49 2405 4079440) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal
Your right of withdrawal expires early in the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if we have begun performance of the contract after you have expressly agreed that we begin performance before the withdrawal period has expired, and you have confirmed your acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and we have provided you with confirmation of the contract (§ 356 (5) BGB). Because the licence key is issued immediately, we ask for this consent at checkout.
7. Model withdrawal form
If you wish to withdraw from the contract, you may fill in this form and send it back to us.
To Bostrot Inh. Eric Trenkel, Kölner Str. 71, 50259 Pulheim, Germany, [email protected]:

8. Updates and conformity
For consumers, the statutory provisions on digital products (§§ 327 et seq. BGB) apply, including our obligation to provide updates necessary to maintain conformity for the period the consumer can reasonably expect. Statutory rights in the event of defects apply without restriction.
The application is provided as it is described on this website. We do not warrant that it is free from all errors or that it is fit for a particular purpose beyond the agreed characteristics.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damages arising from injury to life, body or health, for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and under the Product Liability Act.
In the case of slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation, that is an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Any further liability is excluded.
10. Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.
If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is our registered office.
